Jill Hammill, VMD
Jill Hammill, VMD, currently sees patients at Talleyville Veterinary Hospital. After several years of working office jobs, she pursued her childhood dream of becoming a Veterinarian. She holds Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from West Chester University and graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Hammill has volunteered for cat rescues and finds Trap-Neuter-Release work very rewarding. Her medical interests include dermatology, dentistry, and exotics – especially snakes and reptiles. During veterinary school, she traveled to the Dominican Republic and Thailand to assist in the medical care of various animals, including Elephants. She shares her home with three cavalier spaniels (Pax, Linus, and Wicket), four cats (Skimbleshanks, Padme, Naboo, and Lando Purrissian), two chinchillas (Alastor and Hedwig), many tropical fish, and a plethora of orchids. In her free time, she likes to garden, crochet, sew, scuba dive, and spend time with her sons, Faolon and Escher.
Donna L. W. Namey, VMD

Donna L. W. Namey, VMD, graduated with the highest honors from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine after working several years at Jefferson University Hospital as an ASCP-certified medical technologist in their microbiology laboratory. She is a co-owner of the Windcrest Animal Hospital Group. Dr. Namey counts her veterinary school acceptance phone call as one of her most memorable experiences. This call allowed her to fulfill her childhood dream of a career caring for pets. She has a particular interest in ultrasonography with 30 years of experience. Dr. Namey and her husband, George, and their children, Jacob and Samuel, enjoy spending time together in their Hockessin historic home and at the Delaware beaches. She also enjoys gardening, paper-crafting, and her two dogs, Sunny, Maggie, and cat Raven.
F. Morgan Dawkins, DVM

F. Morgan Dawkins, DVM, graduated from the University of Tennessee and is a co-owner of Windcrest, Hockessin, Talleyville, Graylyn Crest, and Centreville Veterinary Hospitals. Dr. Dawkins has a special interest in exotic species and orthopedic surgery. He has known since elementary school that he wanted to be a veterinarian. The most memorable experiences of his career were his first day working as a doctor, and the day he had a Bengal tiger cub as a patient.
Dr. Dawkins has served in the following capacities:

- Member of The Association of Reptile and Amphibian Veterinarians
- Member of The Association of Exotic Mammal Veterinarians
- Member of The American Association of Small Ruminant Practitioners
- He is also USDA accredited.
Dr. Dawkins was awarded the Veterinarian of the Year by the Delaware Veterinary Medical Association in 2012.
His family includes his beautiful wife Jennifer and children – Collin, Bailey, Sidney, and Trevor. Family pets include two dogs, both border collies (Gilly and Jack) currently being trained for sheep herding trials; cats (Tahlula, Dorito, and Mango), a rabbit (Scooter), a tortoise (Tortillini), two chinchillas, a pen full of chickens and ducks and lastly, a small flock of sheep (for Gilly and Jack). His hobbies include woodworking, gardening, sheepdog training, reptiles, motorcycle riding, SCUBA, and sitting on the beach on a tropical island.
Anthony Dallatore, VMD

Dr. Anthony Dallatore, VMD, graduated from the University of Delaware with a major in animal science, and minors in entomology and biology; then went on to graduate from the University of Pennsylvania with a major in small animals. Dr. Anthony currently spends his clinical hours split between Centreville and Hockessin Animal Hospital. Dr. Anthony loves all aspects of caring for cats, dogs, small mammals and birds. Dr. Anthony is the proud father of twin boys, Sebastian and Donte, and his wife, Mary Ann, is a Licensed Veterinary Technician. Born and raised in Wilmington, DE, the Dallatore family now resides on a farm in Elkton, MD. The family includes 9 cats, 11 dogs, many chickens, turkeys and ducks, 7 goats, 2 mini donkeys, a mini horse, a tortoise and 2 budgies. Dr. Anthony enjoys outdoor activities, including hiking and fishing, and enjoys spending time with his family at their small fishing cabin on the Conowingo Reservoir.
Dr. Dallatore was awarded the Veterinarian of the Year by the Delaware Veterinary Medical Association in 2023.
Monica Drummond, DVM
Dr. Monica Drummond was born and raised in Wilmington, Delaware. She attended Wilson College in Chambersburg, PA, where she received her undergraduate degree in biochemistry. She then spent a few years in a chemistry Ph.D. program at Bryn Mawr College before deciding to pursue her passion for veterinary medicine. She completed her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 2021 at the University of Georgia before returning back home and taking a job at Windcrest Animal Hospital.
Dr. Drummond shares her home with her two dogs, five cats, two ferrets, and a guinea pig. When she isn’t working, she can be found training and occasionally competing in various dog sports (agility, barn hunt, scent work, dock diving) or reading cheesy romance novels.
Dr. Drummond is Fear Free certified, USDA APHIS accredited, and a member of the American Association of Feline Practitioners.
Carol Edwards, Practice Manager
Carol joined our Talleyville team in July 2014 and became the Practice Manager in early 2015. She graduated from Otterbein College, in her home state of Ohio, with a B.A. degree in Equine Science. Carol previously worked with world class race horses, event horses, and polo ponies all over the Eastern US. After many years of hard work, and independent study, she passed the Veterinary Technician National Exam in 2007 and became a Licensed Technician in Delaware. She enjoys spending her free time watching her son play ice-hockey and traveling with her husband. Carol and her husband share their home with two rowdy dogs, one bossy cat, a box turtle, a corn snake and multiple fish. She enjoys helping all of her fellow teammates grow and learn throughout the field of veterinary medicine and looks forward to all they will learn together over the next five years. While Carol is unsure of her Technician superpower, her coworkers attest to her ability to stay calm in stressful situations.
Carrie Chiaffarano, Veterinary Assistant
Carrie grew up on a small farm in Northern New Jersey with potbelly pigs, goats, chickens, a miniature horse, dogs, cats and birds! She started working in the Veterinary Field in 2006 and is currently studying to become a Licensed Veterinary Technician. Although Carrie has some experience with exotic pets, she most enjoys working with dogs and cats in general practice. In her downtime she enjoys reading, watching movies, hiking, and spending time with her pets at home. Carrie shares her home with two cats and a dove named Jack Sparrow. In five years she hopes to become a fully licensed technician and continuing to learn and grow in the industry she loves. Those who work closely with Carrie all agree that her superpower is the great attention to detail in everything she does.
Denise Dilenno, Technician
Denise first gained experience as a Technician working at a local hospital in Delaware. She went on to a larger hospital in Florida, before deciding to return to Delaware and join our team in 2017. She obtained her Associates Degree in Veterinary Technology from Delaware Technical Community College, Georgetown, and soon after earned her LVT credentials. In her free time, Denise enjoys going to the beach and spending time with her family. Over the next five years, her only goal is to continue working in the veterinary field as an LVT and to gain as much experience as she is able to. She shares her home with two furry friends, a 10 year old Chihuahua and a kitty named Tiny. Denise’s superpower as a technician is staying calm in stressful situations.
Lori Florschutz, Veterinary Assistant
Lori has been rescuing and caring for animals her entire life and knew from a very young age that she would be working professionally with animals when she grew up. During High School she volunteered at multiple dog rescues, but now volunteers for a local cat rescue. Lori was a technician at a cat only Animal Hospital in Philadelphia for 4 years before joining our Talleyville team in 2017. When not working Lori enjoys spending time with her family, reading, and caring for her many fur babies. These fur babies she shares her home with include dogs, cats, miniature pigs, a horse, bunny, tortoise, gecko and multiple fish. Lori’s strengths include helping nervous pets remain calm during their visit with us and keeping our doctors and fellow technicians calm as well, we call this her superpower.
Tyra Miller, Technician
Before joining our Talleyville team, Tyra worked at a Veterinary Medical Center in West Chester, Pennsylvania. She attended a Technical High School where she studied Veterinary Medicine, then went on to further her education at Harcum College. There, she gained her LVT credentials and completed her practicum at both the New Bolton Center and Ryan Penn Hospital in Pennsylvania. Tyra has always known she wanted to work in the veterinary field, her only goal over the next five years is to continue doing the work that she loves. In her downtime, Tyra enjoys swimming, playing volleyball and doing puzzles. She shares her home with a black/mixed lab, a chocolate lab, and a Calico cat named Cookie.
